Mark Hemstreet: Remembering American Veterans


For more then four and a half decades, Mark Hemstreet has owned and operated Shilo Inn Suites, now with properties located in six Western states and Texas. He is a staunch supporter of the United States Military and American Veterans. In 2000, he was awarded the first-ever "Patriotic Tribute Award" for his continued ardent support of American Veterans.


Building the Desert Storm Memorial

In 1994, Mark Hemstreet unveiled the American Veterans and Desert Storm Memorial in Lincoln City, Oregon. Hemstreet designed, planned, and built the memorial to ensure there was a permanent place for people to pay their respects for those who has made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our freedom?

Mark Hemstreet: Shilo Inn's Troy Lodge Wilderness Retreat


Mark Hemstreet is the founder, owner, and operator of the Shilo Inn Suites, a successful hotel chain located in six Western States and Texas. As a property developer, Mark Hemstreet has worked and developed several projects that have been instrumental in revitalizing local communities. 



One such project is the Troy Lodge Wilderness Retreat, in Troy, Oregon. Hemstreet has spent a considerable amount of time and money working to clean up the failing town, converting it into a popular destination for outdoor, recreational, hunting, fishing, hiking enthusiasts.
